Leslie K. Balken

Leslee K. Balten works with pro se parties in mediation to resolve family law conflicts related to divorce and parenting time. Leslee brings a diverse background to her mediation practice. Her work spans civil, family and commercial law, giving her a breadth of knowledge and the ability to help parties effectively navigate and resolve more complex disputes. In addition to her legal and mediation work, Leslee manages Ciancio Ciancio Brown’s Breckenridge office and co-manages our Civil Litigation Group. Leslee is available for mediations in Summit County and the surrounding mountain communities, as well as the Denver metro area.

She first moved to Colorado in 2000 before heading east to earn her J.D. at Vermont Law School. After graduating, Leslee returned home to Colorado to begin her legal career with a clerkship for the Denver District Court. She completed the Colorado Bar Association Leadership Training program in 2015, has been named to Colorado Super Lawyers, Rising Star from 2015 to 2018, and is the 7th Region Vice President for the Colorado Bar Association as well as serving on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center.
