Banafsheh Lari
Bio

Banafsheh Lari is an associate attorney with Ciancio Ciancio Brown, P.C. and a member of the Family Law Team. Banafsheh earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Affairs with an emphasis on the Middle East from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2012. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2015.

Banafsheh began her legal career as a law clerk in Adams County District Court primarily for the Honorable Jaclyn Brown. She served on the domestic and civil dockets drafting hundreds of orders in a wide variety of cases including: dissolutions of marriage, allocation of parental responsibilities, and post-decree modifications.

While attending law school, Banafsheh was the recipient of the Dean's Scholarship. She was a member of Moot Court Board, served as chair of the Dean's Excellence Committee, and was elected representative to the Student Bar Association by her peers. During law school, Banafsheh was an intern for the Honorable Christopher Cross in Arapahoe County District Court and interned at a prominent private family law firm in Denver. She also served as a fellow with the Honorable David Goldberg in Denver County District Court where she focused solely on family law matters. During her internship in Arapahoe County and fellowship in Denver County, Banafsheh quickly realized she had a passion for family law issues and helping families through the most difficult times they may face.

For the past five years, Banafsheh has volunteered her time coaching students competing in the statewide Colorado Bar Association High School Mock Trial program.

While she was born and raised in Colorado, Banafsheh is an avid world traveler. Most recently, she traveled throughout Iceland and can't wait to plan her next trip. Banafsheh is fluent in Farsi.
